There is a lot of talk that Robin Strasser (ex-Dorian Lord) might be returning to One Life to Live in the very near future.
The actress recently left a message on her fan hotline that some are calling "very encouraging." In the message, Strasser talked of a recent visit to New York City and how much she enjoyed being back in the Big Apple.
Strasser recently spent time in Paris, where she studied French at The Sorbonne. Strasser has also spent an extended amount of time in California as part of NBC's Passions. Strasser played the recurring role of Hecuba, a 300-year-old witch on the soap, off and on since October 2001. Her most recent stint to the show ended in October.
Fans have been clamoring for Dorian to return to Llanview for quite some time. It is unclear if they would accept a recast if Strasser declined to return to the show. Strasser has never ruled out a return to One Life to Live and was an admitted friend of former executive producer Gary Tomlin. Strasser exited One Life to Live just before Tomlin took over the helm. Incoming executive producer Frank Valentini had acknowledged that Dorian's return is high on fans' wish lists, but says that "something new" would need to be created in order to facilitate such a return.
A network spokesperson declined to comment on whether or not Strasser -- or Dorian -- would be returning.
